ERA is one of the major importers and distributers of dry food products in Turkey. It operates at the same address since 2006. We are based in Mersin, South Turkey, only few kilometers from the sea port which is one of the largest in Turkey and Eastern Mediterranean Region.

We source spices, sesame, coffee and citric acid from all over the world regularly throughout the year.

We have well-established suppliers with HACCP and ISO certificates in China, Canada, Vietnam, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Malaysia, Argentina, India, Brazil and Egypt.

Our head office, warehouses and factories are located in the same area to have better internal communication and check on the quality of goods incoming and outgoing. We have 4000 metre square temperature-controlled warehouses with 5000 tons storage capacity designed to ensure food safety and hygiene. Our factories for grinding spices, granulating citric acid, cleaning & calibrating seeds as well as factory for producing bakery & patisserie type sesame seeds and tahina that is built in 2014 are fully operating. All ISO2000 food safety certified.

We have very stringent quality control to ensure each product conforms to the specifications contracted and buyers’ requirements. We use SORTEX Z+(BUHLER) machines to sort out discolored seeds and foreign material at high sensitivity. We have advanced technology laboratory run by experts that can carry out various tests. We still may need re-processing and re-packing of the goods imported for the satisfaction of our customers who eventually deliver to major retail and supermarkets and food industry in the domestic market.
